Get To Know Dr. Tuan

Dr. Tuan was born in Vietnam and moved to Los Angeles, CA when he was 6 months old. At the age of 6, he and his family moved to Houston, TX where he spent the remainder of his childhood.

Attending high school in Katy, TX, Dr. Tuan went on to receive his college degree from the University of Houston where he was first drawn to dentistry. It was there that he realized the impact dentistry had to transform people’s lives. He knew then that this was the path for him and went on to further his studies at the University of Texas School of Dentistry at Houston Medical Center where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).

Dr. Tuan sees first-hand the way the confidence of a new smile can change a patient’s life – that truly moved and motivated him to help others in all ways possible!

Dr. Tuan lives in Katy, TX where his favorite hobby is raising his young daughter, Ellie! He also loves photography, rock climbing, basketball, football, running, and lifting. He also really enjoys watching all the great Houston sports teams, the Rockets, Texans, and Astros!

We are so excited you have chosen Dr. Tuan and Simply Smile Dental Studio. Here, you will notice we do things a little differently - we treat you like family! So, sit back, relax, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need anything during your visit.

Your first visit with us will be a consultation, examination, and review of your intended treatment where you’ll receive gentle preventive care to keep your oral health strong, and protected! We will gently treat your smile to a thorough cleaning, a detailed exam, and any necessary x-rays.

Dr. Tuan will discuss your oral health and together you will discuss a customized treatment plan that fits your vision and budget. Dr. Tuan is committed to providing you with honest guidance every step of the way. His main goal is to help you make informed, pressure-free decisions that will help you gain the confidence you desire through a beautiful smile.

Next, all that’s left to do is return to the front desk and schedule any follow-up appointments so you can preserve a healthy, beautiful smile!
